We invited young people & families enjoying the day to join us in creating a powerful piece of sand artivism: a giant sun with our logo at the centre, π surrounded by 17 rays, each representing a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Each of us claimed a ray and proudly shouted out our SDGβπ¬β¨ sparking laughter, connection, and real conversations about sustainability.
π Flowing from the sun were bold arrows β representing a new, inclusive, sustainable path forward for everyone, everywhere. These messages stretched right across the beach for maximum visibility, proving that even the tide canβt wash away a good idea πβ‘οΈπ
ππ‘ Through simple, creative engagement, we showed how art, fun, and critical reflection can inspire everyday activism. π±β
π Sand art is sustainable (no waste! no materials! just nature + creativity) and it connects directly to climate issues, especially around water, rising seas, and coastal change. π§ππ§
Letβs keep pushing for a more sustainable neighbourhood, city, country and worldβone casual, creative, collective step at a time. π£π
